Jeanetta has planned this day since her engagement, but she has lived this day since she was a little girl. She sees herself as a fashion icon, a model in a Vogue spread and the seductress in a 40’s classic film … mysterious and wanted. She is today’s bride.

A fun couple, a delight to shoot.

Kim Turner, from Fashion Cents, needed an image that shows a complete outfit and the details that make Fashion Cents. We designed a layout that did just that. It’s a clean collage of the outfit with “blowouts” of the details she wanted to highlight.

Joanna and Sam introduce Veronica! She is the next Top Model. Hitting her marks, smiling and blowing bubbles (her signature pose).

Here is a new young family celebrating their first holidays together. I love using bright high-key backgrounds with children. Some of these were morning light filtering through a window and others were on a seamless set. Sam and Joanna brought Veronica’s toys to help her feel comfortable in new surroundings.  She lasted the entire shoot — through wardrobe changes, set designs and makeup (wiping away the bubbles).

A quick review and Mom and Dad were pleased (was that a tear?) I think I heard Veronica’s first words “That’s a wrap!”

Christina and Tim brought William over for a photo session. They also brought Tim’s first Sport Jacket! Cute guy!

It’s enjoyable watching the personality of a one-year old develop. How much is like his mother, his father, his own? What toys will he play with? Over and over. Will he like being “on-stage?” (William does!) Shooting children requires imagination we have forgotten to use. I enjoy capturing the interaction of parents and kids at play. (Okay, one serious pose for the mantle.) Fun, laughter, play, and the occasional cry or yawn all make images that are the family personality.

Spent the evening with Jaime, Jen and lotsa friends. Friends making friends in a fun and easy way.
